This Sunday in sunny North Vancouver, volunteers constructed a dry river rock stream bed in the native species garden at the YNC Office. This was part of a larger project: in part two YNC members will learn about watershed and stream stewardship during a eco-education workshop and then create a school of painted dream fish that will swim in our new stream! Stay tuned for phase two!
Thank you to all the volunteers who flexed their muscles moving stone and digging the stream bed on March 24th. A big shout out to the BC Parks Park Enhancement Fund and to the Elders Council for Parks for their support of this project.
