Field Experience Grants for Outdoor Learning
The Conservation Education Assistance Fund (CEAF) is an easy-to-apply for, small grants program just announced by the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation.
CEAF provides K-12 classes and schools in BC with small grants for outdoor field experiences. The purpose of CEAF is to help provide meaningful outdoor experiences for students that support inquiry and field investigation skill development.
The small grants are to help cover costs associated with outdoor field trips and field-based projects including:
- Bus transportation up to $250/class or $3500/school
- Outdoor field project materials up to $100/class or $1000/school
- Field trip leader or program fees up to $250/class or $3500/school
Application deadlines:
- February 15 (for field trips April 1 – June 30)
- September 15th (for field trips September 1- March 31)
